on Thursday, January 9, in Abkhazia began to protest. The participants of the rally demanded from the authorities the recognition of the illegal results of elections of the head of the Republic. The opposition stormed the presidential administration and blocked it.

According to the Deputy of the National Assembly of Leonid Chamagua, Khajimba refused to satisfy the demands of the opposition. The head of state is not prepared to make such a decision. He believes that it is necessary somehow to defuse the situation.

according to RIA Novosti, the Parliament sent to the President to negotiate five people. It is known that the meeting was held in loud tones, journalists were not allowed.

Raul Khajimba said that, if necessary, in Abkhazia will be declared state of emergency.
