President Vladimir Putin asked the Russian government to promptly issue a decree on measures to support the concert organizations, to maintain financial stability and they must not have any outstanding obligations to the viewers and visitors. He stated this at a meeting with cultural figures on Saturday, June 6.
the Head of state reminded that he had instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to develop a package of measures to support organizations that are engaged in a concert or tour activities, gave at a recent meeting with representatives of the cultural sector in Novo-Ogaryovo.
“the Resolution has been prepared, the Minister also about it mentioned in passing. I’m asking him to promptly issue”, — Putin said.
Earlier in the meeting, the President noted that he considers necessary to enable the cultural sector to the national economic recovery plan and the social sphere.
the President also drew attention to the fact that Russian culture has proved its viability and openness to the public that demonstrated the difficulties of the past months.
the Meeting of the President with workers of culture, held in videoconference mode, transmits the channel “Russia 24”. It takes place in the Russian language Day, celebrated on the birthday of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
the meeting is attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, the Minister of culture Olga Lyubimova, presidential adviser Vladimir Tolstoy, head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova and other famous people.
