The Russian foreign Ministry returned to the Ukrainian note without consideration

Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation returned to Kiev without consideration of Ukrainian note in connection with a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin of the Crimea on January 9, RIA Novosti reported.

“That note, like others coming to us for the treatment of this kind, the Russian foreign Ministry returned to the Ukrainian side without consideration due to the lack of grounds for protest. We remind you that the Russian President and other Russian officials should coordinate with foreign countries to visit the regions of the Russian Federation. This fully applies to the Republic of Crimea and the Federal city of Sevastopol”, — said the Ministry.

the Ministry urged the Ukrainian side to accept the reality of belonging of the Crimea and Sevastopol to the Russian Federation.

the Deputy of state Duma Ruslan Balbec called a protest note to the Ukrainian foreign Ministry political spam.

“the Visit of President of one of the regions is a normal and necessary action for any government. Here, the position of Ukraine is nothing more than political spam. Yes, once the Crimea was under the jurisdiction of Ukraine, but times have changed,” said Balbec.

As previously reported, in the Black sea on Thursday held joint exercises of the black sea and Northern fleets with the performance of the rocket firing, including cruise missiles “Caliber” and hypersonic aeroballistic rocket “Dagger”. In the exercises involved more than 30 ships, a submarine of the black sea fleet and over 40 aircraft of Russia’s air strikes. The exercises from the Board, “Marshal Ustinov” was watched by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Crimea became a Russian region after held there in March 2014 referendum in which an overwhelming majority of voters of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol voted for entry into structure of Russia. Crimean authorities held a referendum after a coup in Ukraine in February 2014. Ukraine still considers Crimea its but temporarily occupied territory.

the Russia has repeatedly stated that the inhabitants of Crimea democratically in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter voted for reunification with Russia. The President of Russia has repeatedly said that the issue of Crimea “closed permanently”.
