Dmitry Medvedev said that the Russian government resigned in full force. According to him, the decision was made on the background of proposals to amend the Constitution, which were formulated in the Message to the Federal Assembly, delivered by Vladimir Putin today.
the President thanked the government for the work and asked him to fulfil the duties before formation of new Cabinet.
Putin also said that he intends to introduce a new position of Deputy Chairman of the security Council and to appoint to this post of Dmitry Medvedev.

Earlier it was reported that Putin discussed with Medvedev the implementation of the thesis of the Message at the meeting.
