In St. Petersburg arrested a second suspect in preparation of acts of terrorism on new year’s holidays. Dzerzhinsky district court decided to send Nikita Semyonov into custody for 2 months, TASS reports.
Earlier, a similar measure was selected for his alleged accomplice Georgy Chernyshev.
Earlier on Monday, the FSB published a video of the detention of both alleged militants, who were members of the terrorist organization ISIL (banned in Russia). According to police, the young men planned to commit a terrorist attack in a crowded place during the Christmas holidays. Both the Russians have already given grateful evidences. While the FSB noted that to prevent crime was possible thanks to information from colleagues from the USA.
