The U.S. Embassy in Zimbabwe will stand outside of Floyd

the Street where is the US Embassy in Zimbabwe, was given the name George Floyd. With this initiative the city Council of the city of Harare has addressed the Civil society forum of Zimbabwe and the Alliance against sanctions.

Now the street is called Flame-Lily-vey that is derived from the flower Gloriosa, reports TASS. But the activists believe it should be named “brother Floyd, who was killed in a horrible way.”

“We need to constantly remind Americans that they have on their hands of innocent blood, the blood of the black man,” — said in a statement. The renaming of the street will be “a tribute to Floyd, whose death marks the end of all forms of oppression.”
