The UN security Council renewed humanitarian aid to Syria

the UN Security Council adopted a resolution extending cross-border operations to deliver Syria humanitarian aid. For the resolution voted on 11, Russia, China, Britain and the United States abstained.

About the settings of the extension mechanism for the delivery of humanitarian aid, which expired January 10 this year, failed to agree after which lasted more than three hours of closed consultations, reports TASS.

In accordance with the adopted document, the delivery of humanitarian aid will be carried out only through two points, located on the border of Syria with Turkey, the border with Jordan and Iraq are excluded. The action schema is extended for six months, after which it will assess the situation.
