Eintracht Frankfurt, who sensationally won the Europa League in May and thus received a starting place in the Champions League, will face Tottenham Hotspur, Sporting Lisbon and Olympique Marseille in Group D.
The group stage begins on September 6th and 7th, with less than two months later on November 1st and 2nd it’s already the sixth and final match day. An exact arrangement of the games has not yet been determined and was expected for Friday, even if the groups in the Europa and Conference Leagues have been drawn.
The draw for the group stage of the Europa League starts on Friday at 1 p.m. It also takes place in Istanbul. Sky broadcasts the draw live on TV and stream. Among the 32 clubs, which are divided into eight groups, there are two German representatives, 1. FC Union Berlin and SC Freiburg. Immediately after the draw for the Europa League, the draw for the Conference League takes place.
