To Putin's arrival, Pompeo and Erdogan in Berlin tightened security

In the German capital on the day of the international conference on Libya introduced enhanced security measures. In particular, blocked driveways and approaches to the office of the Federal Chancellor, which will host the main talks.

On the streets of Berlin are on duty additional police, some roads in town centre closed, RIA Novosti reported. According to the Berlin police, it and other departments, in advance, notify people about upcoming traffic limitations.

For a conference on Libya nearly 800 accredited journalists. Almost all of them will cover the talks remotely from the press centre at the Federal office of the press.

Conference on settlement in Libya will begin on Sunday afternoon (14:00 Moscow time). It will be attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin, the presidents of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egypt’s Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. It is expected that at a certain stage of the negotiations to join the Libyan conflict.

the conference will participate and the USA: Washington will be represented by Secretary of state Mike Pompeo. During his stay in Berlin, he plans to meet with representatives of the four countries and the European Union. Pompeo is scheduled to meet with the Ministers of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, head of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan and Germany, Heiko Maas, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy, Josep Borrell. Meeting with representatives of Russia in the schedule of the Secretary of state does not appear.

Along with President Vladimir Putin, who will represent Russia at the conference on Libya in Berlin will be acting Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. Before the conference he plans to hold talks with the foreign Minister of Italy Luigi Di Maio, reports TASS.

Earlier in Moscow were mezhliviysky negotiations with the participation of representatives of Russia and Turkey. The head of the Libyan nationaltion of the army Khalifa Haftar left the Russian capital, and not signing of the armistice agreement with the Tripoli-based Government of national consensus Faiza Zarraga. The delegation of the NTC signed the contract and went to Istanbul.
