Ukraine outraged by the Victory Parades in Crimea and the Donbass

Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine sent a protest note to the Russian foreign Ministry in connection with carrying out in the Crimea and the self-proclaimed republics DNR and LC parades in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory.

According to diplomats, the conduct of Russia such events “on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine” violates the Ukrainian laws, international law, in particular, resolution of the UN General Assembly of 27 March 2014 on territorial integrity of Ukraine.

in addition, the document States that the parade also violates the Minsk agreement, demonstrates the course of Moscow for the further escalation of the conflict, and the current policy of militarization of the Crimea “constitutes a serious threat to European security”, reports TASS.
