Addressing to staff, the head of state stressed: “Here in Syria, you are protecting your own home, not allowing infiltration of militants into Russia and neighbouring States”.
Also, Vladimir Putin thanked the commanders and personnel of the Russian forces in Syria for the faithful performance of duty, reports TASS. “Russia, your loved ones are proud of you,’ he said. The President noted that the personnel of the Russian Navy off the coast of Syria continues to defend national interests in the Mediterranean. Words of special gratitude to the Supreme commander of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation addressed the Russian military medics.
