Without a hitch tested system for remote voting

an Online system for voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation running smoothly. On the results of the inspection, which lasted 36 hours, said the head of the Department for the improvement of territorial administration and development of smart projects of the government of Moscow Artem Kostyrko.

“Failures in time (test – ed.) the voting was not, the system worked normally,” – said Kostyrko.

According to him, the test was attended by about 90 thousand residents of the pilot regions – Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region. The turnout was 11 percent, reports TASS.

“Now we will produce the Assembly of the decryption key, which is divided into five parts,” said Kostyrko.

Earlier, Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin urged residents to vote electronically, to minimise the risk of infection by coronavirus. In the capital of the online voting will be held from 25 to 30 June and 1 July to vote at the polls.
