Yevgeny Primakov appointed head of Rossotrudnichestvo

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing Yevgeny Primakov to the post of head of Rossotrudnichestvo, reports TASS.

At the head of the Department, he was replaced by Eleanor Mitrofanov, who went to work in the foreign Ministry as Ambassador for special assignments.

Yevgeny Primakov was born on 29 April 1976 in Moscow. He is the grandson, Yevgeny Primakov (1929-2015), Soviet and Russian politician, diplomat.

In 1999, he graduated from historical-philological faculty of the Russian state humanitarian University, specialty “history”.
