Artistic Director of the Maly theatre, the famous theatre and cinema actor, people’s artist of USSR Yuri Solomin, celebrates its 85th anniversary with family and friends, reports TASS.

As an actor played on stage a lot of diverse roles in plays, on account of his nearly 100 films.
for Many years Yuri Solomin teaches at the Schepkin drama school as a Professor.
For his creative work Solomin won numerous awards: people’s artist of USSR, twice winner of the State prize, he was awarded the order of Friendship of peoples and Honor. In addition, the hero of the day — full cavalier of the order “For merits before Fatherland”, in the spring President Vladimir Putin awarded him the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation.
