In connection with the appointment of the national and ataman of the Kuban Cossack army Nikolay Doluda has resigned the Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar territory. A dismissal order was signed by the head of the region Veniamin Kondratiev.
Doluda took the post of Vice-Governor, the office Manager of administration, in 2006. In 2007, he became ataman of the Kuban Cossack army with the rank of Cossack General. In November 2019, by the decree of the Russian leader Vladimir Putin was appointed ataman of the all-Russia Cossack society.
For the Krasnodar territory the traditions of the Cossacks have a special historical significance due to resettlement on the territory of the Kuban Cossacks. At the end of 2018 in the region were 54 thousand Cossacks. They take an active part in public and political life of the region, reports TASS.
Activities of all-Russia Cossack society is regulated by the Federal law “On state service of Russian Cossacks” and are subsidized from the Federal budget, RIA Novosti reported.
