Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill congratulated believers on Christmas, according to a Christmas message from the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church on the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate.
He said that the souls of believers are still filled with “unspeakable joy” from the miracle of the incarnation. The Patriarch noted that the Church is now going through difficult times, experiencing “storms of strife and contradictions” and is under pressure.
