Mass murder in the US has increased compared to past decades

In 2019, the number of mass murders in the United States reached record levels compared to previous years.

Mass killings in the US are the occasions when the hands of the attackers killed four or more people. In 2019 were 41 cases of these mass killings. In 33 cases, death was associated with the shooting.

Similar statistics are from 2004, but archival documents indicate that data for that year exceed the figures for the number of mass murders from the 70-ies of XX century.
