Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that created in the Soviet times the health system and epidemiological surveillance to destroy failed. This idea the head of state expressed during the online meeting, stream led channel “Russia 24”.
After the report of the Director of the Russian research anti-plague Institute “Microbe” of Vladimir Kutyreva the President asked him who in the Soviet Union created a system of sanitary-epidemiological supervision. The scientist said that it met the first Minister of health of Russia Nikolai Semashko, as well as a galaxy of experts that came after him.
Vladimir Putin commented on the response Kutyreva in the following way: “Exactly. The Soviet Union collapsed, and his system has failed”. The head of state noted that currently the Russian authorities are doing and will take steps for further strengthening of the epidemiological system.
Earlier Vladimir Putin during a meeting declared that the country’s health system works with a good margin of reliability and durability.
