His predecessor, Dong Jin Ko will retain the role of chief information technology and mobile communications of the Korean conglomerate, according to Bloomberg.
With Roh Tae moon Samsung will bet on the production of devices equipped with 5G-module, as well as a folding display. On February 11, the company may announce a new flagship line of Galaxy S20.
Samsung is the largest smartphone manufacturer, but its share decreases. Koreans are actively catching up with Samsung: according to estimates by Strategy Analytics, during the year, the gap between the two firms decreased from 5.9% in 2018, up 3.6%.
