The penalty for refusing vaccination: an explanation

the draft of the new code of administrative offences (Code on administrative offences) provides for penalties for vaccine refusal only for professional risk groups, explained the Deputy Minister of justice Denis Novak.

Citizens, prebivalista under the plan on vaccination, is not concerned. However, administrative liability is incurred, if a citizen has not fulfilled its responsibility to be vaccinated when it is stipulated by the law on sanitary-epidemiological control (when visiting troubled countries, for example).

Novak added that the rate and extent of liability worked out in the first version and with the participation of Rospotrebnadzor, reports TASS.

In turn, the CPS confirmed that a fine of up to 7 thousand rubles for refusal of vaccination and medical examinations will be imposed only on the representatives of the professional groups at risk, reports “Interfax”.

At the same time, the former head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko, called this the law is hasty and unnecessary, because it violates the norm of immunoprophylaxis, involving informed consent and not coercion.

Onishchenko recalled the situation with vaccination in Russia. So, last year caught flu 60 million Russians.

the Ministry of justice has placed on the portal of legal information the draft of the new Cao on Saturday. According to the document, a waiver of statutory vaccinations will cost the citizen in the amount of 7 thousand rubles.
