Ukrainians asked Zelensky unblock Russian sites

Users of Ukraine appealed to President Vladimir Zelensky with a call to release the lock of the Russian online services. The petition to restore access to “Vkontakte”, “Classmates”, sites of “Yandex” and other resources on the eve was published on the website of the President.

“Please accept the law on the resumption of operation of all Internet services of Russian companies, such as mail.ru, vk.com, yandex.ru since many of these resources are very necessary for Ukrainians”, – writes the author of the initiative Dmitry Kaminsky. “These infotainment resources do not cause any harm to the Ukrainians and Ukraine as a whole, – said in reference to Zelensky. – So blocking them is not considered appropriate”.

While the document was signed by more than 400 people. In order to appeal considered the administration of the President must be at least 25 thousand people. Until the end of collection of signatures there are 91 days.

Access to Russian social networks “Vkontakte” and “Classmates” and the service “Yandex”, Mail.Ru, “” Kaspersky Lab, ABBYY and “1C” are limited to the territory of Ukraine from may 2017. A decree signed by Petro Poroshenko, who was then the head of state.
