In Australia, continues the group stage of the new team tournament of the Association of tennis professionals ATP Cup. In group D Russian team in the two games was stronger than the Italian team. The victory brought the Russians Daniil Medvedev, who beat Fabio Fognini with a score of 1:6, 6:1, 6:3.
Earlier in the tournament Karen Khachanov was stronger than the Italian Stefano Travelli in two batches – 7:5, 6:3. Thus, regardless of the result of a steamy meeting, the Russians have ahead of schedule won a victory over representatives of Italy.
