The court in absentia arrested the second top Manager of the Bank

Vologda court in absentia arrested the second top-Manager of “Northern credit”. It in an organized criminal group could withdraw from the Bank billions of rubles. This led to the bankruptcy of the organization.

As reported by the GTRK “Vologda”, accused Yevgeny Pikalov, Vice-President of the Bank, is currently in hiding outside the country. According to unconfirmed information, he can be in Estonia. Investigators suspect that Eugene Pikalov was the leader of the group. His signature was on agreements fictitious transactions.

Note that on 1 June the court has sentenced in absentia former head of the Bank “Northern credit” Alexey Jelizovo.

At the end of 2017 the Bank “Northern credit” suddenly declared its insolvency. In the spring of 2018 it was declared bankrupt. Depositors ‘ funds were brought back, however, it was discovered that billions of dollars of assets were withdrawn by the group of control persons and distributed for personal offshore accounts.
