After a record increase in the number of cases COVID-19 in the Voronezh region oberstab made a statement. The disease is identified in 127 residents of the region. That is the absolute maximum since the beginning of the pandemic, reports GTRK “Voronezh”.
In the spread of infection is often to blame the citizens themselves, who do not use protective masks and gloves in public places and at work, and do not listen to requirements of sanitary physicians. According to officials, it is not possible to “interrupt the chain of infection”.
Voronezh authorities explained the increase in cases of increasing the availability of PCR assays. To date, the region has carried out nearly 136 thousand tests. By August, the number of studies in the region will increase to 4.5 million a day.
However, according to representatives of oberstab, you need to consider other factors. “The correct measure for assessing the epidemic situation with COVID-19 is the ratio of discharged and hospitalized. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the hospital were delivered 3945 people, and written 2650 (not all were confirmed coronavirus infection). Thus, the quantity discharged is about 67.2% of the number admitted. Epidemiologists estimate this figure as a favourable”, – reported in the sit room.
