Sterile boxes, masks and thermometers: Rospotrebnadzor has published the voting rules

the CPS and the Central election Commission has published recommendations on the organization of voting on amendments to the Constitution of Russia, which will take place on 1 July. These measures are aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus, reports channel “Russia 24”.

So, the members of the election Committee, observers and journalists have to work in masks and gloves during the day they will regularly measure the temperature. Citizens who came to vote should also be masked, however, when verification is it recommended for a while to remove. To transfer the passport into the hands of the member of the electoral Commission is impossible.

Before passing to the place of voting should be a point to disinfect hands and issuing masks and gloves. Themselves the ballot boxes in front of the autopsy will be carefully disinfected.

Observers and media representatives should be at a distance of 1.5-2 meters from the entrance, tables and booths.

the vote itself is given no more than 15 minutes. And drinking food and beverages on the ballot this time is strictly prohibited.

Initially, the vote on the amendments to the Constitution of Russia was scheduled for April 22. However, due to the difficult situation with the spread of the coronavirus that causes it was delayed until normalization of the epidemiological situation. On 1 June, President Vladimir Putin announced that the vote will take place on 1 July. The decision was taken after a meeting with representatives of the Central election Commission, the CPS and members of the working group on the amendment of the Constitution.
